Reinventing “I Do” in the City of Lights

P3 Events is rewriting the rules of Las Vegas weddings, making them bold, joyful, and anything but ordinary.

The first thing you notice at a P3 Events wedding is the laughter. It might be guests sipping French 75s as Elvis greets them at the door, or a couple catching their breath after an unconventional first dance. Nothing feels stiff, nothing feels scripted, and yet everything is seamless. The bride and groom often say the same thing as they look around in awe: they feel like guests at their own wedding.

That is exactly what founder and lead planner Lindsay Parrot Mazowitz wants. “We like you to feel like you’re the VIP guest at your wedding. You show up and you’re pretty much surprised,” she explained with a grin. For Lindsay, weddings should be fun, creative, and unforgettable, not a burden filled with endless checklists and outdated traditions.

From California Dreams to Vegas Beginnings

Lindsay’s path into the world of event planning did not begin with a family business or a natural handoff. It started with a decision to break away from the ordinary. After graduating from college in 2011, she found herself frustrated by internships that felt uninspired. “I got tired of interning for people who were twice my age and doing things that were very boring,” she recalled. “So I just started a company.”

That leap of faith was bold, but Lindsay was not content to wing it. She invested in herself, paying what she described as “an inordinate amount of money” to train with a well-known planner in San Francisco. The experience changed everything. The first wedding she helped execute was featured in Town and Country, a glamorous launchpad that gave her the itch to keep creating.

Lindsay built her business first in Chicago, developing her distinctive style of weddings that felt vibrant instead of formulaic. But when she moved to Las Vegas in 2020, she faced the daunting task of starting all over again in a city with its own legendary wedding culture. The timing, oddly enough, worked in her favor. The pandemic had put a pause on massive 300-person gatherings, and Lindsay was already eager to pivot toward intimate, meaningful celebrations. “It kind of just married together at a perfect time,” she said.

Weddings Without the Weight of Tradition

The Las Vegas wedding market has always been diverse, ranging from quick chapel ceremonies to lavish hotel productions. P3 Events carved out a middle ground that feels fresh and tailored. Their weddings typically range from cozy elopements to parties of about 90 guests, blending the intimacy couples crave with the flair people expect from Vegas.

“Weddings should be fun,” Lindsay insisted. “They are the most important day of your life until the next most important day. So we want to make sure that you’re enjoying the planning process, actually being engaged, and living your life while we handle the work.”

Her philosophy runs counter to the often overwhelming planning process that other companies impose. Couples who work with P3 are encouraged to hand off the stress, confident that their event will be handled with creativity and precision. “A lot of other companies will continue to engage their couple that entire time when you really don’t have time to plan your wedding. You have a job. You’ve paid us a crap ton of money to get it done.”

Two Roles, One Vision

As if running P3 Events was not enough, Lindsay is also the owner of a downtown Las Vegas chapel, which adds a second layer of responsibility and opportunity. “Learning that I have to have two different brains for the same industry has been kind of difficult to navigate,” she admitted. Yet, this dual role has allowed her to create a seamless experience for couples who want a ceremony and reception venue that balances the fun of Vegas with modern elegance.

Her chapel space, which she describes as a blank canvas, offers couples an alternative to the stereotypical Vegas wedding. No neon clichés or hurried ceremonies, but something that feels stylish, personal, and entirely their own. “People don’t have to get the cheesy part of Vegas. They can have elegance in Vegas,” Lindsay explained.

A Fresh Take on Planning

What makes P3 Events stand out is not just its creativity but also its transparency. In an industry where planners often charge a percentage of the total budget, costs can balloon quickly. Lindsay has taken a different approach. “We do flat rates,” she said firmly. “Now, if I have a 400-guest wedding, we’ll have to talk. But if it’s a normal wedding and we say our price is $8,000, that’s what it’s going to be. I don’t think planners should charge more because the couple has more.”

It is a stance that has earned her loyalty from couples who value fairness as much as artistry. By removing financial guesswork, P3 allows couples to focus on the excitement of their celebration without the stress of surprise costs.

A Voice for Creativity and Risk

Lindsay does not just follow trends; she likes to set them. “The next new thing inspires me. I like creating trends, not following them,” she said. “So I kind of like doing things that people either really, really hate or really, really love. Anything that’s kind of questionable, I like doing.”

This willingness to push boundaries has led to weddings that look and feel unlike anything else. Guests never know what to expect, but they know it will be unforgettable. Whether it is a bold color scheme, an offbeat entertainer, or a reimagined ritual, P3 specializes in moments that become lifelong stories.

Social Media and Word of Mouth

In a city saturated with competition, P3 Events has grown not through glossy ads or traditional marketing, but through authenticity. “I don’t advertise at all except on Instagram and TikTok, and then word of mouth,” Lindsay explained. It is a strategy that has paid off, especially once she mastered social media. “I had to learn it, but now that I’ve learned how to work it, it does work for me.”

Her online presence showcases not just the weddings, but the philosophy behind them: joy, personality, and a refusal to take tradition too seriously. Couples who discover P3 on social media find a planner who speaks their language, someone who makes the process feel approachable instead of intimidating.

Why Vegas Couples Choose P3

Las Vegas has always been a wedding capital, but in a post-pandemic world, couples are searching for something more intentional. P3 Events offers exactly that. By focusing on intimate, stylish, and playful celebrations, Lindsay has built a reputation for delivering meaningful experiences without being cookie-cutter.

Couples appreciate her candor, her humor, and her ability to make them feel at ease. They also admire her balance of elegance and fun. One weekend might see a sleek, candlelit ceremony. The next could feature Elvis shaking hands with guests. The common thread is that every wedding feels authentic to the couple, not dictated by tradition or trends.

Looking Ahead with Confidence

When asked where she sees P3 Events in the next year, Lindsay’s answer was refreshingly simple: more of the same. “Doing it honestly, exactly what we’re doing now. I think I love where we’re at with P3,” she said. With the addition of her chapel space, she sees an even stronger future for couples who want a modern Vegas wedding that feels special without being overdone.

Her vision is clear: continue making weddings joyful, continue breaking away from outdated molds, and continue giving couples the best day of their lives without the stress that usually comes with it.

For couples considering tying the knot in Las Vegas, P3 Events offers not just planning services, but a philosophy: weddings should be fun, bold, and truly yours.
