Rooted in Faith, Built for Family

A Las Vegas insurance brokerage puts trust, values, and relationships before the bottom line.

“I just wanted to help my family.”

He sat quietly in the corner of the café, hands folded on the table, exuding a calm energy that felt immediately grounding. As the lunchtime crowd buzzed around us, Andrew spoke with measured intent, not like a man pitching policies, but like someone inviting you to understand a calling. “We’re not just selling insurance,” he said. “We’re protecting legacies.”

A Higher Calling, Not Just a Business

For Andrew, co-founder of Firm Foundation Legacy Group, insurance is personal. Very personal. His journey didn’t start with a sales playbook or a desire to enter finance. It started, as he put it, with God.

“I come from the church world,” Andrew explained. “I was a worship leader and still am. I had a desire to help people, and I’ve always believed if you follow what you’re called to do, the right doors will open.” That door happened to be life insurance. Introduced by a friend who showed him a video presentation, Andrew initially didn’t take it seriously. But something about the message stuck.

After a few months of watching quietly from the sidelines, he attended an in-person meeting. The more he learned, the more he realized that this wasn’t just a business opportunity. It was a ministry. “This isn’t a hustle for us,” he said. “I believe this is Kingdom work.”

Building from the Ground Up

With a leap of faith and years of experience in customer service, Andrew and his wife Christa, a former teacher, founded Firm Foundation Legacy Group in Las Vegas. Christa officially holds the title of CEO and sole member, while Andrew helps steer the business and build the team from the ground up.

Their mission was clear from the beginning: educate families, empower decision-making, and provide peace of mind. They didn’t come from a long line of agents or a well-oiled corporate machine. What they did have was heart.

“Most people don’t understand insurance. They don’t know what they have or what they need,” Andrew said. “Our job is to take that confusion off the table and give them clarity.”

Navigating Hardship with Heart

Starting a business rooted in faith and family values can be rewarding, but it’s not without its challenges. One of the biggest lessons Andrew learned early on was the importance of patience. “In the beginning, we were in a hurry to build. But it’s not about rushing,” he said. “It’s about building deep. You’ve got to build a foundation that lasts.”

That foundation was tested, like many others, during the uncertainty of the pandemic years. Clients were hesitant. Conversations around life insurance became more emotionally charged. But it also opened the door to deeper conversations about legacy, security, and stewardship.

“We’re not in it for a quick commission,” Andrew said. “We’ve walked away from sales if it’s not the right thing for the client. That’s not easy, but it’s necessary. We don’t believe in pressure. We believe in peace.”

Helping Families Protect Their Legacy

Firm Foundation Legacy Group specializes in life insurance, health insurance, Medicare, retirement planning, and estate strategies. But if you ask Andrew, it’s not about the products. It’s about the people.

He often shares the story of a young family who came in with minimal coverage and a vague understanding of what would happen to their children if something tragic occurred. “We walked them through everything, from coverage options to setting up a will,” he recalled. “When we were done, they had a plan. They had peace.”

That approach—thorough, compassionate, and family-first—is what sets Firm Foundation apart. They offer complimentary consultations and go the extra mile to make sure clients understand every aspect of their policies. The firm’s bilingual services also help them connect with the growing Hispanic community in Las Vegas.

Faith, Family, and Integrity

Throughout the conversation, Andrew returned to one key idea: integrity.

“I tell my team all the time, we’re in the people business,” he said. “Yes, we handle insurance. But what we really do is show up for people in their most vulnerable moments. That’s not something you can fake. That has to be real.”

He believes that legacy isn’t just about what you leave behind, but how you live today. “You can leave money. You can leave a policy. But if you don’t live with love, respect, and responsibility now, none of that matters.”

That’s why they train every agent to lead with education, not persuasion. It’s why they pray before big decisions. And it’s why their clients stick around—because they know Andrew and his team care about more than just paperwork.

The Heartbeat of the Community

Firm Foundation Legacy Group doesn’t just serve Las Vegas—they’re a part of it. They attend local events, host community information sessions, and build lasting relationships. “Our clients become family,” Andrew said. “We check in. We send birthday cards. We remember names.”

That local trust has translated into steady growth. Much of their business comes from referrals, a testament to the relationships they’ve built and the trust they’ve earned. As Andrew put it, “In this business, your name is everything.”

A Legacy in the Making

Looking ahead, Andrew hopes to continue expanding their impact. They plan to open more offices, bring on new agents, and help even more families plan for the future with confidence.

But growth will never come at the cost of their core mission. “We’re going to keep being who we are,” he said. “Faith-led. Family-based. Client-focused.”

Whether you’re a new parent thinking about the future, a retiree sorting through Medicare, or just someone trying to make sense of your financial picture, Firm Foundation Legacy Group offers something increasingly rare: a human touch.
